It could be said that you are just one among the procession of New Kent's senior classes,
one among 40,000 senior classes graduating this spring in the U. S., therefore I could glibly pass
along to you the shibboleths our generation throws at yours. "Grow up," "study," "drive care¬
fully," "choose wisely," "stay out of trouble," and countless more. However, you are not just
any senior class in any school, and I refuse to say just "any" thing to you.
You are the senior class of New Kent High School. To your parents, the faculty, your under¬
classmen, and to ME, you are a very special class; and with you will go our love, our prayers,
our hopes, and our promise in the future. Your diploma you have earned, it is no gift, and you
have our sincere congratulations on your achievement. We will miss you, but you have left a
part of you here. We all do.

For New Kent High march along.
True to the colors we bear—
Dark blue and white so fair.
In bonds of true fellowship
That the days and the years cannot sever,
United in friendship we stand,
For school, for friends, for Alma Mater for

npODAY there are more than 100,000

search for new uses never ends. That is
why this fast-growing industry is now the
fifth largest in the country . . . and why
it needs trained researchers and techni¬

Our company, a pioneer kraft manu¬
